One of the top workforce training agencies in the U.S., AIDT is an innovative training program that provides value-added services, solutions, and connections for Alabama’s new and expanding businesses and employees. It is AIDT’s goal to deliver unparalleled workforce development for Alabama’s new and growing businesses, all while expanding employment opportunities for the citizens of our state.
AIDT also provides leadership development, including ISO 9000 training support, and services featuring supervisory and manager skills.
AIDT has assisted Alabama’s new and expanding companies since 1971 that have used varying manufacturing processes in a wide range of production. Experience with growing and changing industries keeps AIDT trainee recruitment, selection, and training services consistently effective to meet changing industrial needs. Whatever an employer needs, AIDT provides assistance for successful start-up or expansion in Alabama.
Typically, trainees selected for employment perform at high production levels based on the technical training they received, as well as the process by which they were selected for training.
Rigorous screening and interview processes direct selection of highly qualified and experienced applicants. Job seekers must meet employer criteria to be accepted for training. Attitude is a key factor in each candidate’s success.
“AIDT had a direct impact on the successful startup of Honda Manufacturing of Alabama LLC,” said Chuck Ernst, HMA vice president and plant manager. “The outstanding recruitment and training process helps us find workers in communities where before coming to Alabama we had no relationship or experience.”
AIDT’s job specific, pre-employment training results in highly motivated candidates for employment who naturally perform above general expectations, according to Mercedes-Benz USI human resources startup vice president.
“Our first 20 team members, after about four to six weeks, were actually doing full-time jobs on the assembly line in Germany,” according to the retired vice president. “That was a real compliment to our team members.”
