Please join the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) for the bi-annual International Trade Briefing for key BBA investors, economic development allies and business community on April 23, 2014.
Bill Cummins, State Director of the Alabama Small Business Development Center Network and BBA International Trade Council Chairman, will moderate the briefing. Attendees will hear updates on international trade initiatives from the BBA, as well as from Hilda Lockhart, Director of the Alabama Department of Commerce International Trade Division and Chairwoman of the Export Alabama Alliance and Robert Stackpole, Director of the Alabama Office of the U.S. Department of Commerce – U.S. Commercial Service.
The BBA represents the state’s largest metro area and is the leading regional advocate for exporting and international trade in the region. Their mission includes working with the Export Alabama Alliance to provide a team of export advisors to support and promote trade efforts for companies located in the Birmingham seven-county region (Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, St. Clair, Shelby and Walker counties).
