The U.S. and EU are two of the most modern, developed economies in the world, and negotiations are under way to form a Trans-Atlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (TTIP) – an ambitious, comprehensive and high-standard trade and investment agreement that presents an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen the bond between these vital strategic and economic partners. NAITA and Baker Donelson will host this briefing focusing on the status of TTIP and its implications for U.S. companies. Attendees will be briefed by Thomas Lambert (Deputy Chief of Mission, Belgian Embassy, Washington, D.C.) and Ellen House (Acting Director, Western & Northern Europe Office of European Country Affairs, Global Markets, International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce).Klint Alexander and Doreen Edelman, members of the Global Business Team at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, will discuss the status of the discussions, and attendees will have the opportunity to exchange views.
