“Emergency Response Contracting Opportunities & Disaster Recovery Assistance”

This is a very special seminar designed to help small businesses understand how to identify and compete for emergency-response contract opportunities. Top government procurement officials, emergency managers, and prime contractors who are responsible for awarding contracts in response to a natural disaster will be present at this event. In addition, there will be a discussion of disaster preparedness measures and what types of disaster recovery assistance is available to small businesses. Participating agencies are: DHS/FEMA; U.S. General Services Administration (GSA); Small Business Administration (SBA); Army Corps of Engineers; Alabama Emergency Management Agency (AEMA); State of Alabama Purchasing Division; Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA); City of Montgomery Emergency Management Agency; and the American Red Cross.
