NAITA / UK Space Sector Briefing

Join the North Alabama International Trade Association (NAITA) and UK Trade & Investment for a special briefing to learn more about the UK Space Sector, the ambitious future growth plans under development and the opportunities for collaboration with the Huntsville space community.

• Chris Lee, Head of International Space Policy, UK Space Agency
The UK Space Agency is at the heart of UK efforts to explore and benefit from space. The agency provides funding for a range of programs such as the National Space Technology Programme and works closely with national and international commercial, academic, education and community partners.
• Steve Ringler, Space Cluster Development Manager, Harwell Oxford
The Space Cluster at Harwell Oxford is an internationally recognized hub within the European space industry. The cluster is expanding rapidly and includes the long established Rutherford Appleton Laboratory Space Centre, the Satellite Applications Catapult, the European Centre for Satellite Applications & Telecoms (ECSAT), and a thriving European Space Agency Business Incubator, serving as a major attractor for a spectrum of companies from start-ups to large corporates.
