The North Alabama International Trade Association (NAITA) is pleased to announce that the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) will participate in a program to highlight initiatives that will better facilitate the collaborative partnership with industry. The focused region for this event is the United States African Command (AFRICOM).
Presentations from various FMS organizations will highlight contracting information pertaining to FMS cases, provided an orientation on FMS case visibility utilizing the Common Operating Picture (COP) software to track FMS case development/execution data, provide an update on the Army’s export reform processes, and identify potential business opportunities for materiel and training systems and those foreseen specifically within AFRICOM’s area of responsibility (AOR). Representatives for all the Army’s acquisition centers that award FMS contracts will be present to answer questions and provide insights into the contracting process.
