ANNISTON, Alabama —- The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce this morning unveiled its “Shop Local” campaign, as part of the beginning of Small Business Month.
Chamber Chairwoman Julia Segars said in a news release the campaign will hopefully remind local shoppers to keep their dollars close to home, in order to grow businesses, create jobs and help schools.
At the same time, the chamber also announced its 10th anniversary Small Business Award winners. They are Abbey Carpet and Floor, Anniston Emergency Medical Services, Anniston Eye Clinic, CD Cellar, Christian Corner Meats, Family Value Video, Freestyle Graphix, Lighting Showroom Inc., Mark Lee Insurance Agency, Monet Salon and Day Spa, Oxford Lumber Co., Sweet Peas Boutique, Randy Jones and Associates, Remodeler’s Outlet, Signature In-Home Care, Too Nice to Slice Bakery and Top Notch Events and Rentals.
