(Contributed by UAH)

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The Rocket City’s top “Innovation Leaders” will be revealed Friday morning during HOTCoffee’s Innovation Leadership Awards ceremony at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

HOTCoffee, a year-old startup networking community of more than 400 people launched by the UAH College of Business Administration, nominated 24 contenders in the private, public and social sectors. HOTCoffee members then ranked the top three candidates in each category.

“The Innovation Leadership Awards recognize initiatives started or expanded in 2014 as the most beneficial to creating a startup ecosystem in Huntsville that is vibrant, inclusive, and promotes a high quality of life for all,” an announcement said.

You can check out the nominees here.

The event, which will be open to the public, will take place during HOTCoffee’s 7:45 a.m. meeting in UAH’s Chan Auditorium. For more details, click here or contact ICE Lab Interim Director John Whitman at john.whitman@uah.edu.
