Angela Till serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce, Business Development Division. Till joined Commerce in July 2014 after a lengthy tenure at the Alabama Department of Revenue, where she worked in the Office of Economic Development managing tax incentive programs.
Till is active in many economic development and industry organizations. She serves on the advisory board for the Alabama Communities of Excellence and the steering committee for Alabama EPSCoR. She previously served as a board member of the Automotive Manufacturers Association of Alabama and the advisory board for the Alabama Department of Tourism.
As deputy secretary, Till has played an integral role in crafting and implementing incentive legislation, including the Alabama Jobs Act, the Growing Alabama Act and the SEEDS site development program.
Till holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery.
