HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Defense contractor Duotech Services recently cut the ribbon on its new 25,000-square-foot facility in Huntsville.
The $4 million investment will create 50 quality jobs and support Duotech’s expanding role in the test, repair and remanufacture of electronic systems and subsystems on defense platforms. The facility will have a special focus on missile and missile defense support.
“Protecting our national security and growing our nation’s defense capabilities is a critical aspect of our manufacturing sector and Alabama is proud to add Duotech to our bench of industry innovators,” said Alabama Commerce Secretary Ellen McNair.
“Duotech’s investment here strengthens our position as a global leader in aerospace and defense, brings quality jobs to our citizens and enhances our overall economy.
“We know Duotech will find in Alabama the workforce, community partners and infrastructure to be successful.”
Duotech leadership said the company’s capabilities are unique within the Huntsville region. Headquartered in Franklin, N.C., Duotech specializes in mitigating electronic component obsolescence and delivering rapid, cost‑effective repair and sustainment support. By keeping legacy systems mission‑ready, Duotech helps clients reduce downtime, extend platform life and avoid costly replacements.
