Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) is one of the top workforce training agencies in the nation. Established in 1971, AIDT has assisted more than 5,500 companies, providing value-added services for new and expanding businesses and employees in Alabama. With this innovative training program, businesses tap into unparalleled workforce development—all while our state’s citizens enjoy access to expanded employment opportunities.

AIDT is also the first state workforce training organization to earn the ISO 9001 international certification for its quality management system.

For qualifying projects, AIDT training is provided at no cost to employers or trainees, and services include pre- and post-employment assistance, maintenance assessments, safety assistance and training, and leadership development.
