“Montgomery is an ideal choice for the Mountain Top’s new industrial home in the U.S., and we look forward to helping the company grow and thrive,” he added.

Mountain Top says its products are designed and engineered to perform in extreme environments.

“We know that pickup truck owners, as an extension of their DNA, expect high-performance, quality products to suit the style and durable nature of their vehicles,” said Timothy Bruce, plant manager of Mountain Top’s Montgomery facility.

“Our covers are built to withstand the toughest scrutiny and keep performing even in the harshest environments.”

LOCAL SUPPORT

Elton Dean, chairman of the Montgomery County Commission, said Mountain Top is a great addition to the 300-acre Montgomery Industrial Park, where the company will serve as a supplier for Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama’s new Santa Cruz crossover program.

“We understand that the Montgomery plant is a big commitment by Mountain Top, and we stand ready to support them in every way,” Mayor Steven Reed said.

Arthur DuCote, chairman of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, said Mountain Top Industries joins a growing list of international companies locating in the region.

“To have a leading global manufacturer choose our community for their first ever North American facility speaks volumes about what Montgomery has to offer,” DuCote said. “We are excited to welcome Mountain Top to Montgomery and make them part of our growing community.”
