PARIS — At the world’s most prestigious aerospace event, two Alabama companies are taking center stage to showcase their expertise and expand their global reach.

SEA Wire and Cable and Alabama Aerospace are representing the state at the “Made in Alabama” booth within the U.S. Pavilion at the 2025 Paris Air Show. Both firms bring advanced technical capabilities, deep industry partnerships, and a strong track record of performance in the aerospace and defense sectors.

Based in Madison, SEA Wire & Cable is a trusted distributor of mil-aero wire, cable, tubing, EMI/RFI backshells and other harnessing solutions used in critical military and commercial applications.

With a modern 80,000-square-foot facility housing over 70 million feet of wire and more than 15,000 stocked items, SEA serves global aerospace leaders including Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

Alabama Aerospace, headquartered in Huntsville, delivers high-quality fasteners, electromechanical components, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) services to the aerospace, military, maritime and space markets.

The company holds approvals from NASA, the Defense Logistics Agency, and top-tier defense contractors — a testament to its rigorous standards and mission-focused reliability.

“Our mission is to provide flawless parts to the warfighter, astronaut and sailor,” said David Clark, General Manager of Alabama Aerospace. “We will meet many of our suppliers and customers at the exhibit.

“Our focus will be on expanding our exports and relationships in Europe,” he added.

‘Global reach’

Christina Stimpson, Chief Officer of Commerce’s Office of Global Business, is supporting both companies at the “Made in Alabama” booth — which serves as a central meeting hub for Alabama’s delegation at the Paris Air Show.

“Alabama has a proud legacy in aerospace, and companies like SEA Wire and Cable and Alabama Aerospace are continuing that legacy through cutting-edge innovation and global reach,” Stimpson said.

“By showcasing their advanced capabilities at the Paris Air Show, they’re not only strengthening Alabama’s reputation as a hub for aerospace excellence — they’re also demonstrating how our state is driving solutions for the future of flight,” she added.

Representatives from SEA Wire & Cable are using the show to build new partnerships and reaffirm relationships with existing customers.

“It’s a privilege to represent Alabama at the Paris Air Show as part of the ‘Made in Alabama’ showcase,” said Luke Trapp, Sales Manager for SEA Wire & Cable. “SEA Wire & Cable is eager to engage with current partners and build new relationships within the global aerospace and defense sectors.

“This event provides a premier platform to highlight our technical expertise and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality wire, cable, and connectivity solutions to the industry,” he added.

“In every mission that flies, lands and defends — there’s a connection that holds it all together,” added Jeremy Shaffer, SEA’s Director of Business Development.

“At SEA, we don’t just supply components; we deliver confidence where failure is not an option.”
